The Independent Gym Monthly

Gym Owners uses the email address you submit to confirm your subscription and send the monthly list you choose. We record subscription choices, confirmation and unsubscribe status and dates so we can respect your preferences. Newsletter consent is separate from a supplier enquiry or Gym Directory listing.

Your choice

We rely on your consent for the monthly newsletter. A new signup requires an explicit list choice and email confirmation. You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in an email or contact us for help, access, correction or deletion requests. Withdrawing does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Delivery and retention

Our hosting and email delivery services process the information needed to store subscriptions and deliver messages on our behalf. We do not sell the subscriber list or give it to suppliers for their own marketing. We keep an active subscription while it is needed to provide the newsletter. After withdrawal we stop newsletter sending and retain only records needed to respect the withdrawal and meet applicable obligations; technical deletion depends on the site's unsubscribe settings and backup cycle.

Reports use aggregate findings, not identifiable subscriber lists. Website analytics are a separate choice covered by our site privacy policy. Contact us with a privacy concern; you can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
